- Collaborating with Engineers: Engineers can be a substitute for DEs by helping UXRs set up basic event tracking and log analysis, enabling UXRs to gather behavioral data.
- Using Lightweight Survey Tools: When DSs are unavailable, UXRs can collect quantitative data by designing simple surveys to gather insights on user needs and validate personas.
